hi, this looks like the rite place to be concerning my project with my motor.
i have picked-up this motor in attempt to build a generator.
my problem is the number on the i.p. is half chipped away with the paint.
i saw someone selling a onan marine generator that looked like this copy/pasted the MDK it listed as, googled it which led me here.
it does have kubota written in japanese on the oil filler caps. 1105 on the head, so i compared it to the current pictures of 1105 kubotas. looks pretty similar and the dimensions are close.
any help i could get to identifying this motor will be helpful.
my goal is to run it as a generator.
currently needs a starter, and needs to be mounted to get for me to see where i stand.
